Non-urgent advice: North Yorkshire Breast Screening Service
The Trust Breast Imaging Unit provides the base site for the North Yorkshire Breast Screening Service which covers the region, It is also the centre for the provision of a comprehensive symptomatic breast service to the population of York, providing one stop and follow up services, as well as some outreach clinics at Scarborough Hospital. All women aged 50 up to their 71st birthday are invited for breast screening every 3 years.

Non-urgent advice: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (also known as AAA and Triple A)
AAAs are more common in men aged 65 and over and NHS screening for this condition is available free of charge for all men registered with a GP in England.
